This page is an easy read version of this website, to help everybody understand the project.
This website tells you about a project called Homosexual Death Drive.
The project is owned by Charlotte Cooper. Her main website is https://charlottecooper.net
In the past the project was a band. There were other people involved. Now it is just Charlotte.
The project explores some fancy ideas about people who are different.
It does this by making performances, books and objects with tools that are easy to use.
The performances might be:
- In real life
- On video
- A sound recording
- In front of lots of people
- In front of one or two people
They might involve singing, talking or dancing.
The books are homemade, you can find out more about them at the main 33editions page.
The objects might be:
- Things to wear
- Things to look at, like a drawing
- Things to play with
- Things where you’re not sure what it is
The objects look home-made and are not pretty. This doesn’t matter.
They might have rude symbols on them.
The project has lots of purposes:
- Share ideas
- Have fun
- Look and feel amazing
- Include people who feel left out
- To be silly and serious at the same time
- Other things which we don’t know about now
This project really likes being:
- Naughty
- Emotional
- Close and friendly
- Weird
